Brogan Group attended the topping-out Ceremony at a City of London development.

The new commercial building, rising to 110m at its tallest point saw Sub-Contractors, the Client and Architect join the main Contractor for the celebrations.

The original concept of the ceremony dates back to the ancient Scandinavian practice of placing a tree at the top of a new building to appease the located spirits displaced in its construction.

The building will bring more than 419,093ft² of Grade A, BREEAM ‘Outstanding’ office and premium retail provision to the London Borough of Islington.

Brogan Group Hoists and Common Towers are servicing the construction, with the latest stage involving Brogan Common Towers overcoming a stepped profile design allowing the Hoists to service uninterrupted from level 9 to 19.
