Brogan Group spend time in a microbrewery in Dublin

In Dublin’s fair City

Where the girls are so pretty

I first set my eyes on BrewDog’s first Irish pub.

We secured the scaffold package for Brewdog Microbrewery recently to provide the access that would enable a graffiti artist to decorate the internal area. Our package comprised a 10m high birdcage in the stairs and a number of lift boarders to provide access to the walls.

At the ripe old age of 24, two school friends were sick to death of the beers available in England, and thus was born their aim to revolutionise the beer industry and completely redefine British beer-drinking culture. Just over a decade later, what started as two friends brewing beer in a shed has blown up into over 1000 employees, 70,000 shareholders, over 45 bars, the world’s first craft beer hotel and a beer museum.

Their newest bar, due to open this month will comprise both a bar and a microbrewery that measures 50 sq ft and is intended to serve as an add-on to the pub. “The microbrewery will offer an artisan element and bring social and cultural elements to the traditional pub experience” – the plans stated.
