Brogan Group have secured the scaffolding and hoist package at Castlewood House and Medius House in Oxford Street, London. The ‘Earnshaw Building project’ is an £83m development involving the demolition of the old structure to make way for a new 11-storey building which will contain 21,400m² of office, restaurant and retail space.

Brogan Group’s scaffolding package will comprise a protection gantry over Oxford Street, walkways, handrails, layher staircases to the cabins and Nico running rails. For the hoist component, there is an extended hoist run-off tower on the terrace of Castlewood House where the building steps in.

We will also be providing full external scaffolding on Medius House, including several bridged and hanging access scaffolds, to avoid basing out on neighbouring properties and roofs. The hoist installation team will need to manually manoeuvre one of the hoists through the building for positioning in a landlocked courtyard.
