Brogan Group have picked up a double Gold in Health & Safety with RoSPA (Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents), for the second year in a row.

The internationally recognised safety awards are given to those companies that demonstrate high Health and Safety and Fleet Safety standards.

Changes for 2021 included an examination of how we dealt with COVID-19 but the core assessment continued to focus on topics such as active monitoring, reviewing and workforce engagement, where our teams were encouraged to attend client worker consultation and health and safety meetings.

These awards reflect the wider Brogan Group culture of safety and collaboration on-site, where we develop and implement improvements and awareness across each project and which has seen us win monthly and annual project safety awards with Contractors

For the Fleet Safety award, Brogan were assessed on many topics including road safety leadership, driver risk assessments and monitoring procedures.

For a large fleet that delivers heavy access solutions, including hoists and mast climbers, across England the highest fleet safety standards are essential.

Julia Small, Achievements Director at RoSPA, said: “For more than 65 years, by working with our fantastic entrants, we are driving up health and safety standards around the world, making sure more and more people leave work unharmed every day.”
