Brogan Group’s Daniel Thorncroft and Jon Cooke took part in the Walking With The Wounded Cumbrian Challenge on 16th May. The event marked the 13th Cumbrian Challenge and celebrated the charity’s 15th anniversary.
This year, 848 participants took part in the 20km challenge, raising more than £260,000 to support the charity’s vital work. The funds raised enable Walking With The Wounded to continue changing the futures of veterans and their families by providing life-changing support and, in some cases, helping to save lives.
The charity delivers tailored support programmes, including employment assistance, mental health services and wraparound care coordination, supporting those who have fallen the furthest to get back on track and move forward with their lives.
