Brogan Group continue temporary works at White City Phase 3

Brogan Group are extending their provision of access solutions on the White city Development, a mixed-use development in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea that will involve the construction of 1845 new units when all phases are complete.

Phase 3 will see Brogan Group supply Mast Climbers and Hoists around two 19 storey / 57m high towers. A combination of twin and single masts plus single goods hoists will allow transportation and installation of the facades.

In addition, Brogan have already been put to task designing a hoist setup around a unique 112m and 35 storey curved building, known as the Cassini Tower. This has an undulating balcony design, meaning every level is a different distance from the vertically tied Hoists.

Brogan overcame the design challenge by introducing a specialised bridge system with Luma beams that reach out into the building to tie in Hoist mast sections securely, circumventing the need to put structural pressure on the balconies.

Set among eight acres of green open spaces with a Masterplan designed by Patel Taylor the buildings are connected at basement level on a site featuring a lagoon, café and access to over 100 restaurants, cafés and bars less than a 10-minute walk away.
