We have recently been awarded the access package for the extension to The Mall (Luton). The Mall is a large shopping centre located in the centre of Luton, it was formerly an Arndale Centre until it was purchased by the Mall Company in 2006.
Following the completion of the project the redevelopment will create 8,825 m² (95,000 ft²) of new retail space across 8 new retail units. Three levels of car parking at the top of the development will provide an increase of approximately 200 car parking spaces. On completion The Mall will total 77,199 m² (831,000 ft²). .
The new six story building will have an entrance directly onto St George’s Square with escalators inside the building taking shoppers to the main mall level.
