Brogan Group has been awarded the access package for the Merchant Square (building D) development.

The overall development will consist of 559 new homes of which 30% will be affordable, shops plus almost 100,000 m² of new office space and substantial underground parking.

Brogan Group is supplying scaffolding to Building D which requires initial access to all levels for the structural concrete frame works. The scaffold access will then be adapted to facilitate the cladding elements required to the building including glazing & stone finishes.

The courtyard area requires a bespoke scaffold layout to suit the varying shape and levels of the facade balconies.

Building D (to which Brogan Group is working on) and F are both residential buildings designed by the Kalyvides Partnership, and UK based Mossessian & Partners, with 140 and 196 residential units respectively, ground floor retail outlets and three levels of basement parking.

Building A, the centre piece, will house 223 apartments across 43 floors. The tower includes continuous glass faces running up part of the South side of the tower with balconies on either side, the larger one rises above the roof level to form a glass blade.

Building B features two interlinked office blocks hosting 25,000 m² of space. It will form the bulk of the development standing at 14 floors high.

Building C, situated opposite building B is a mid-rise block that will have approx. 20,000 m² of office space. Both of these buildings will also contain retail outlets on the lower floors creating a new shopping precinct.

The last of the six buildings is Building E, the main office tower. It has approx. 32,000 m² of floor space and has been planned by Mossessian & Partners in conjunction with Perkins & Will.
