Today, 28th April, we are celebrating the World Day for Safety and Health at Work 2021 #SHWDAY.
Why is it so important?
Every year there are:
The World Day for Safety and Health at Work is an annual international campaign to promote safe, healthy and decent work, create a good safety and health culture, to reduce the number of work-related deaths and injuries.
Working in access solutions on some of the biggest and tallest buildings in the world means safety is integral to how we at Brogan Group think and operate.
We are currently on over half a million man-hours Accident-Free across the Brogan Group.
So how do we achieve these stats year-round?
Our success stems from our people, who continually demonstrate their skills, innovation and resourcefulness. This does not just include our experienced SHEQ team, but our trained staff on-site who identify and resolves issues there and then.
It includes our customers who recognise and award our collaborative approach, which considers site risk factors from a design perspective first.
It includes our adherence to standards and memberships of organisations that put health & Safety at the heart of their business. These include NASC, IPAF, BuildingConfidence, RISQS, Constructionline, Considerate Constructors Scheme, Construction Industry Federation, FORS and CLOCS where we recently renewed our accreditation.
The World Day for Safety and Health at Work includes our support for wider wellbeing initiatives such as Mental health First Aid training and we celebrate training our staff to support their fellow workers.
