Brogan Group has announced the appointment of Steve Smith as Operations Manager for the Midlands and North of England. The appointment supports the company’s ongoing multi-national growth strategy and expansion of its specialist access services, people and service hubs across the UK.
This coincides with the launch of three new regional depots serving Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds, Sheffield and Newcastle, as well as projects in Scotland. One depot will operate as a central northern hub, supporting machine servicing and acting as an operational base for engineers and regional management.
Steve brings extensive experience in the access and hoist industry, having spent more than 20 years at Reco Hoists Limited, where he built a strong reputation across the sector. In his new role, Steve will play a key role in strengthening operational delivery in the North and developing relationships with both existing and new clients.
Steve said:
“I’m excited to be joining Brogan Group, a business with a strong reputation for technical quality and delivery, and I look forward to working with colleagues and clients across the Midlands and North to deliver high-quality hoist and access solutions.”
Headquartered near London, Brogan Group operates the largest specialist hoist and mast climber fleet in the UK and globally by asset numbers, including over 900 hoists, 700 mast climbers and the proprietary CAS common tower system.
As the Group workforce passes 1,000, Brogan’s experienced leadership team — strengthened by appointments such as Steve - plays a key role in maintaining the company’s reputation for quality and service as the business continues to expand.
Wayne Smith, Director at Brogan Group, said:
“We’re pleased to have Steve on board. He brings a wealth of experience to Brogan and will play an important role as we continue to expand our presence across the Midlands and North.”
