Brogan have won a new build development Access package in Croydon, a record-setting height for modular construction that will bring 817 Co-Living homes and 120 affordable residential units to South London.

Having secured the Scaffolding package, Brogan Group are now installing mast climbers and hoists for the two towers that stand at 49 and 35 storeys tall. The 150m height sets a new world record for a modular building.

A combination of single, twin and double-stacked Mast Climbers are being installed around the towers, for the façade fit stage of the process. Mechanical sliding platforms have been fitted to bridge the distance to the zig-zag shaped building line.

On one side of the building a Scaffolding gantry has been constructed to base a MCWP, allowing ground-level access to the site team.

The project has an estimated construction time of 30 months and continues Brogan’s involvement in access support for modular construction that has seen work on previous record-breaking buildings such as the world’s tallest modular student building.
