Brogan Group have just installed our Common Tower Solution at a City of London Development.
Six Common Tower levels, Brogan’s temporary modular tower system, has been pre-assembled on the ground before being craned with one lift onto the 14th Storey terrace, allowing the Brogan hoist to be tied up to the 19 Storey.
A variety of Brogan Hoists have already been servicing the new commercial building from ground level up to level 9 and from the first terrace on level 9 to the 14th floor.
Conventional installations of the common tower system are normally from the ground level but for this terrace installation, a unique design overcame the stepped profile design, allowing the Hoists to service uninterrupted from level 9 to 19.
The design team used federated 3D modelling and clash detection to coordinate with the overall design model, including overcoming a restricted footprint with the neighbouring Moorgate train station, as well as a complex cladding finish.
On completion, the new commercial building, rising to 110m at its tallest point, is set to bring more than 419,093ft² of Grade A, BREEAM ‘Outstanding’ office space to the London Borough of Islington and premium retail provision.
