Access Progressing At Al Jahly School

Internal and external perimeter access scaffold continues to be erected at Al Jahly School, one of the four new schools in Abu Dhabi we are providing access for.

Our operations, pictured, are ongoing on the several buildings that will make up Al Jahly School- part of the Abu Dhabi Education Council’s Future School Programme.

Al Jahly will have the capacity to cater for between 1225 and 1500 students, and has been designed to incorporate sustainable features such as photovoltaic* panels for solar energy, solar panels for hot water, energy efficient air-conditioning systems and water conservation devices.

*'Photovoltaic' is a marriage of two words: 'photo', meaning light and'voltaic', meaning electricity. 'Photovoltaic' technology is the term used to describe the hardware that converts solar energy into usable power generating electricity from light.
