After finishing 2018 with an investment of £1m in our logistics fleet, we have been kept busy in 2019 searching for new additions to our fleet.

We have a constantly evolving environmental strategy as part of our efforts to be industry leaders in environmental awareness. Our recent efforts to meet with the latest environmental standards have led to the purchasing of new vehicles to refresh our fleet. Each of our new purchases are the most up to date in energy efficiency.

Throughout our Group-wide Environmental policies we aim to go beyond the guiding principles of ISO 14001 that underpin it, to become leaders by example in our industry for our care and commitment to the environment and for the communities in which we work. This has been evidenced by us being recognised with awards such as the Considerate Contractors Scheme (CCS) for multiple years in a row.

Our new vehicles easily meet the correct standards ahead of the Ultra-Low Emissions Zone (ULEZ) that will come into effect in Central London from 8th April 2019. ULEZ standards will require most vehicles, including cars and vans to meet new, tighter exhaust emission standards or pay a daily charge to travel within the area.

We are proud to hold FORS Silver status, with all our drivers taking part and completing FORS Safe Urban Driving for Vulnerable Road Users, Van Smart, Safety, Fuel, Cycle safety, and Parking and Loading Legally training courses.

We will continue to look for ways to make our fleet safer and more environmentally friendly.
