Brogan Group has been awarded the powered access package for the refurbishment of London's former City Hall, located on the south bank of the River Thames.
Brogan hoists will be installed, reaching heights of up to 45 metres to support the expansion of the existing building. The redevelopment will add 3,800 sq m of new floorspace, creating modern office and retail accommodation.
Overlooking Tower Bridge, the iconic landmark that served as the headquarters of the Greater London Authority (GLA) between 2001 and 2021 is being transformed into a larger, low-carbon workplace, alongside the introduction of new cafés, shops, restaurants and landscaped terraces.
