Brogan Group are donating to the Simon House of Cards’ Christmas Appeal for the sixth consecutive year. The charity helps the homeless community across Ireland.
According to the latest government homeless figures in October 2023, there are 9391 adults and children in temporary accommodation in Dublin, a 21% increase over the same period last year and nationally homelessness is up 100% from 2016.
Last year 6,371 people were supported by the Charity, which assists with a wide range of Homeless related issues including accommodation, healthcare services, counselling, literacy, and addiction treatment.
The House of cards initiative runs in partnership with the Irish Times and is about inviting companies to donate to the House of Cards Appeal in lieu of sending cards or gifts this Christmas, to support the homeless community across Ireland. This donation and others will help improve the situation.
