Brogan Group are providing their Access expertise on the largest wastewater treatment plant in Ireland at Ringsend near Dublin
Irish Water are currently undergoing a massive upgrade which will deliver, on a phased basis, the capacity to treat the wastewater for a population equivalent of 2.4 million.
As a part of this process existing wastewater treatment reactors are being upgraded to Nereda process technology treatment units, which will allow more wastewater to be treated to a higher standard.
The contractor on the project has contracted various Brogan Hoists to transport Goods up 23m to access the top of the wall on these tanks to begin this upgrade process.
Once the whole project is complete by 2025 this new infrastructure will support future housing and commercial development in the Greater Dublin Area while also protecting the marine environment in the Liffey Estuary and Dublin Bay.
