Brogan Group Masts are being lowered at Charlestown Finglas, as the last of our 42 Mast Climbers are being struck and removed from site.

The project for the construction of 374 apartments is part of phase 2 of the Charlestown Development in Finglas, which includes additional leisure facilities and was originally built around a new shopping centre; a quality built mixed-use development on a 40-acre site.

“The planning, implementation and safe delivery of this package has been a major success and testament to the hard work of the JPC and Brogan’s site team,” according to the Contractor.

Brogan joined the phased construction of six new apartment blocks in July 2020, supplying Hoists as well as twin Mast Climbers, including bespoke corner-mounted mast climbers with a 1.2m cantilever, to provide access for the stone and render works to the building facades.

Technical challenges that the Contractor and Brogan overcame together included building over an operational basement car park where Brogan Powered Access solutions were designed and installed to operate out of the basement through voids, with others sited on the podium.

The project is expected to be finished in early 2022.
