Brogan Group support CRASH charity this Christmas

This Christmas we have pledged to donate towards the fundraising efforts at CRASH, alongside making them our nominated charity for our Christmas fundraising this year.

CRASH is a unique charity that assists homelessness and hospice charities with construction related projects by creating places that care for people. Their mission is to support charities with practical elements of their building projects as they believe this massively improves the construction process and helps create better places for people to live and work.  

They work collaboratively with all of the projects they support to deliver assistance with free of charge professional expertise, sourcing and specifying building materials to offer as pro-bono or discounted. They also award cash grants that have been donated by the construction and property industry.

Believing that well designed and expertly built environments have a positive effect on how people feel and behave which is especially true for people who are homeless, vulnerable or sick and those who care for them.

We wanted to help CRASH this year, as we hoped to help people like Mark, found at one of their homes in Emmaus Brighton & Hove who said “I feel safe here living in the community with other people. There’s always more to do and I can learn new skills. I like working here and making I a good place for everyone. It’s better than being on benefits. The real benefit is earning your own money”.
