28th April marks World Day for Safety and Health at Work. This annual initiative highlights the importance of effective health and safety management in preventing workplace incidents and promoting a strong safety culture across the industry.
In construction, working at height continues to present one of the highest risks. At Brogan Group, safety is fundamental to our operations and is driven by both our systems and our people. We have recently achieved 4.5 million man-hours accident free across the Group, reflecting our continued focus on maintaining high standards across all areas of the business.
Our SHEQ team works in partnership with clients to plan and review high-risk activities, ensuring appropriate control measures are in place. This is supported by our operational teams, who maintain high safety standards on site through proactive risk management to protect all site personnel.
Safety is also a key consideration within our logistics operations, where our drivers and transport teams work to minimise risk to both the public and the workforce.
World Day for Safety and Health at Work also provides an opportunity to recognise the importance of wellbeing. Brogan Group has Mental Health First Aiders available across the UK and Ireland to support colleagues when needed.
