The grade 2 listed building, situated in Richmond, built between 1921 and 1924 provided accommodation and nursing facilities for 180 seriously injured servicemen. The charitable trust running the home, announced in 2011 that it would be selling the building as it did not now meet modern requirements and could not be easily or economically upgraded.
The landmark was sold in April 2013 and has now been restored into a range of luxuriously bedroom apartments. Each apartment offers a beautiful setting with iconic views of the river Thames, luxurious gardens and private facilities including a pool, spa and treatment room.
The £50m project comprises of 86 apartments.
