Ongoing access provision at Rolls House Redevelopment

A Scanclimber twin goods and personnel hoist has recently been erected at the Rolls House site in Fetter Lane which will be used to transport goods and personnel up to the 6th floor and will eventually work its way up to the eleventh floor.

Other recent works include the erection of Cuplok scaffold to the North and East elevations with the East elevation incorporating a curved Cuplok frame that includes 5ft extendable transoms.

In addition to this, block laying scaffold has been erected in the basement and lower ground as well as lift shaft scaffold from the basement to the 5th floor.

Once complete, Rolls House will create 37,000m² of new office accommodation over nine floors. The building is located in the Chancery Lane Conservation area and opposite the Grade II* Listed Public Records Office.

The North and South elevations will have bay windows, which are designed with side panels of stone to provide the maximum of stone finish to the oblique view, while actually maintaining a substantial area of full height glazing when viewed from inside or at 90 degrees from outside.
