Transform Schools will work in joint venture with Islington and Building Schools for the Future (BSF) as part of a local education partnership called Transform Islington. The first phase of the project will entail the delivery of new and refurbished accommodation to two schools, along with facilities management and ICT (Information and Communication Technology) managed services.
Additionally, a new Private Finance Initiative school will be built. A further two phases worth £80m will follow over the next five years whereby Transform Islington will project manage, design and deliver two more phases comprising five schools and two pupil referral units.
