R8 Kings Cross is a 347,588 sq. ft mixed-use hub on the eastern side of the King's Cross Masterplan.
Two eleven-storey buildings, one 72-apartment block and one 170,000 sq. ft commercial block sit atop a two-storey podium and shared basement.
Installation
Brogan supplied Mast Climbers and Scaffolding on the project, with Independent Scaffolding deployed on the road-facing elevation and MCWPs used largely on the narrower podium area between the two buildings.
17 MCWP positions serviced the two blocks with heavy and light-duty MCWPs in both twin and single configurations.
Brogan-designed Mast Climber Running Rails were attached to the mast units during MCWP installation, with the running rail Winch attached to façade panels on the MCWPs to enable safer façade panel installation.
