Work at Wembley WO4 presses forward

Feb-2009

Work is well underway at the new build nine-level residential block in Wembley WO4.

This contemporary development aimed at modern London living will incorporate 234 residential apartments of mixed private and affordable use, together with a Primary Care Health Centre; it will meet local needs and include a designer retail shell & core, as well as basement car parking.

So far Brogan has provided traditional tube and fittings access scaffold with boarded lifts to suit floor levels following the buildings stepped cantilevered balcony profiles. A protection fan has also been erected and hung from the access bays to provide a safe covered walkway below.

Work in February includes erecting hoist run off towers and heavy duty loading bays around the site. In addition to this modular beams have been erected providing clear access for electrical works, heavy duty ramps have been installed for unloading glazing and approximately 500m of triple guardrail edge protection has been installed at roof level.
