Works are now well underway on the refurbishment of the Leverton Gardens tower blocks in Sheffield. Main Contractor, Lovell are responsible for the overall project which involves the refurbishment of three tower blocks, each 15 storeys high.
Brogan Group has so far supplied and erected a total of 24 Camac mastclimber machines, 12 on block one (Keating House) and a further 12 on block two (Wigan House). The mastclimbers enable Alument to carryout the refurbishment works on behalf of main contractor Lovell.
The single mast platforms were selected for use on this project to provide maximum flexibility to each elevation with each mast spanning 50m in height.
The refurbishment works include the replacement of windows and rain screen clad on the facades of each tower.
Work will be carried out while the tower blocks are occupied, therefore one of our main priorities is to minimize any inconvenience to the surrounding community throughout the project.
