Brogan Group is providing the access requirements on behalf of main contractor Carillion at the Heathrow Terminal 5C project. The project comprises the construction of the second satellite building to Terminal 5 at Heathrow Airport. The project will be an island 'landside' site located within the operating airfield environment.
This building will complete the original masterplan for the T5 campus and provides airside accommodation for a further 14 aircraft stands. Accommodation comprises arrival, departures, retail and CIP area with baggage and transportation links to the existing T5 buildings.
The overall access requirements consist of external and internal scaffolding as well as hoists with the total project value estimated at £300 million.
Brogan Group is pleased to be involved in such a landmark project as this and we look forward to embarking on this next phase of what has been a longstanding and successful tradition of partnering practice with Carillion.
The development is due for completion in the Summer 2010.
