A number of our staff have recently been trained in spills awareness and the impact that they have on the environment.
The course covered the impact that spills can have on ground water, water polution to underground streams, lakes and drainage and local flora, fauna and wildlife.
The training ensured that our staff are aware of the following aspects; Legal requirements for environmental legislation, the routine for dealing with potential spills, choosing the correct spill equipment to deal with hydrocarbons, non-aggressive or aggressive liquids and the impact that can result from a spill if its not handled correctly.
This training is part of our ongoing commitment to ensure we develop awareness and the effective communication of our environmental requirements to all our team.
