Following our recent success in receiving the OHSAS ISO 18001:2007 standard. Brogan Group have become a registered applicant with Safe-T-Cert and are working towards gaining accreditation for Ireland.
Safe-T-Cert is recognised under the 'Buildsafe' initiative in both Northern Ireland and the 'Construction safety partnership' in the Republic of Ireland and takes account of 'best practice' guidelines and requirements for national and international bodies including the International Labour Office (ILO).
Key features of the scheme include:
A construction sector specific health & safety management system
standard
Jointly owned by CIF and CEF (Northern Ireland)
Accepted by the International Register of Certificated Auditors (IRCA)
A Safety certification process in collaboration with the Institution of
Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH)
Based on International Labour Office guidelines on Occupational Health
and Safety Management Systems (ILOOSH2001)
Included under the Competence of Contractor criteria in the HSA
guidelines to the Construction Regulations 2006
Among other internationally recognised Standards included in the 2012
Olympic Delivery Authority’s Health, Safety & Environment Standard
