Work progresses at the Merchant Square Site in Paddington, in addition to the independent scaffold that we have erected we have recently also installed a Scanclimber SC2032F hoist on site to transport goods aswell as personnel to the building.
The SC2032F is a 24 passenger capacity personnel/goods
hoist with a proven reputation as one of the two most popular high
specification hoists available in Europe.
The hoist can be
accessed via gates at both ends and also has a large side gate which
enables loading/unloading of materials 3m long at ground level i.e.
plasterboard sheeting.
The SC2032F can also be supplied as a twin
cage on a single mast. This enables the hoist to be used for dual
purposes i.e. one side for materials and the other side for personnel.
Advantages:
- No need for concrete foundation.
- No wasted loading space (3.2m x 1.5m x 2.1m = 10m³)
- Frequency converter allows both smooth and stepless start/stop of cage
- Power requirement only 63 Amps
