Big Yellow Storage in Chiswick is a £10 million self storage centre being built adjacent to the raised section of the M4/A4. It will cater for Chiswick, Brentford, Isleworth, Hammersmith and Acton.

The constraints of the area have resulted in some unique design and engineering, which will be a great challegen to supply access to. The 75,000 ft² project is McLaren’s latest win for Big Yellow following a series of successful schemes across the country during the last decade.

The prime location means a striking design has been drawn-up and novel engineering solutions found to fit the constraints of the site.

Dec. 1, 2011 - 24m Stair Case erected at Chiswick Site

Works Progress at 75,000 ft² Big Yellow Storage project in Chiswick, recent works for main contractor McLaren include erecting a staircase for access to roof level spanning 24m high. Upon completion the £10 million self storage will cater for Chiswick, Brentford, Isleworth Hammersmith and Acton.

We are pleased to report on securing our first job with major contractor McLaren Construction, on the 75,000 ft² Big Yellow Storage project in Chiswick.

The £10 million self storage centre is being built adjacent to the raised section of the M4/A4. It will cater for Chiswick, Brentford, Isleworth, Hammersmith and Acton. The constraints of the area have resulted in some unique design and engineering, which will be a great challegen to supply access to.

This comes as our first project with main contractor McLaren Construction, and we look forward to working with them.
