Works have commenced at the brand new Premier Inn Hotel in Waterloo.  Main contractor John Sisk & Son is building a 234 bedroom Premier Inn Hotel on the site of the former General Lying In (GLI) Hospital and nurses home.

The nurses home will be demolished and replaced with a 14 storey reinforced concrete frame, while the GLI building will be remodelled and converted with both buildings linked from the basement to the second floor to create the new hotel.
